Gullivers Travel

Watched this show yesterday and it is funny and light hearted, though I dont find it worth e price for a weekend show. The film is directed by Monsters vs Aliens director Rob Letterman and stars Jack Black as Lemuel Gulliver, a free-spirited travel writer who, on an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle, suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he washes ashore on the hidden island of Liliput, home to a population of tiny people. Dare to be different and do what you want to do!

Tron Legacy

This is quite a good show to watch if you enjoy science fiction. Its also a high budget movie though they do not have alot of casts in it. I liked the story plot as its something different. 3D version is not bad, not very spectacular.. Fav Quote: Guy asked:"What should I do now?" Reply:" Try to survive." The only rule is survival!

Strangers in Life

Went out with Kailun and Baochan for lunch, dinner and watched this show. It is very funny and light hearted, you should watch this if you are into comedy and romance. I always feel its fascinating to know how two people, strangers, will meet each other and fall in love in their life. Are cupids really around?? I believe there will be all sorts of unexpected ways.. Hope all my single friends will find their special stranger in their lives one day soon..

My Mighty Princess

Just watched this show yesterday, a mightily late time after its been released like for 2 weeks.. Have always like to watch Korean actresses acting in those wilful and demanding characters..They always portrayed the character out very well..

This show is humourous and worth watching, able to make one's mood happier!! Ha..Show lasted 118mins...and also incorporate my sassy girl theme song, one which you wont be sick of hearing!

Hollywood Sassy Girl

The Hollywood version is a short show, like just 95 mins..I still prefer the Korean Sassy girl after watching American version one today.. cos I feel this actress does not really portray the character of a sassy girl as well as the Koreans..Not demanding enough and lack of the facial expressions..Not a fantastic show after all..

This story tells about Charlie, who is a shy and idealistic college student who has never been in love. He needs to "LIVE"..When he rescues the beautiful and elusive Jordan from falling to her death at railway track, his life is changed forever. Jordan engages Charlie in an unusual and eccentric courtship. Charlie endured and went through many tests to win her heart in the end..

Charlie:"If we never see each other again, and one day, you feel a certain presence beside you... that would be me, loving you wherever I am."

WALL-E: Explore the Axiom

Catched Wall-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) today.. A show with little dialogue ,characters express feelings and words through actions, a new experience >.<

I like the character M-O (Microbe Obliterator) most. M-O's warning message: "foreign contaminant". M-O is annoyed by the 100% amount of filth on WALL-E and follows WALL-E in an attempt to clean him. Wall-E also cute when it boxes itself up.

This shows tells about how a small waste collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that'll ultimately decide e fate of mankind.

Pixar also released a 30 second preview of Doug Sweetland’s computer animated short film Presto, which you will see before WALL-E starts. Don't miss it, I feel its a fun Pixar short. The animation of the bunny and the magician is also great, and the bunny is very cute!!!
Sneak Preview of Pixar's "Presto"

Meet Dave

Watched this show with Ron yesterday, to kill time but it turns out to be a quite a laugh. Funny, without much storyline, worthy a weekday movie investment the most! A 90 mins show.

This show shows about Eddie Murphy, a captain who works hard to make the look alike Murphy space ship seem real but it turns out so awkward and funny. They actually wanted to get to Earth to absorb all the sea salt with a small orb to save their planet that is depleting in energy. But instead they begin to learn emotions and develop feeling with people and ends off with a happy ending.

Fav Quote in show:

Gina Morrison: I'm Gina, by the way. Gina Morrison.
[pauses, waiting for him to tell her his name.]
Gina Morrison: And you are?

Captain: 3?

No. 3 - Cultural Officer: This is a list of the most common names on this planet.

Captain: My name is... Dave: Ming Chang.

Gina Morrison: Ming Chang? [laughs]

Gina Morrison: Sorry, sorry, you just struck me more like a "Dave" or something.

Dave: Which happens to be my other name.

Gina Morrison: Dave...Ming Chang?

Dave: Dave Ming Chang.!!!

A Millionaire's First Love

Just watched this '06 movie online..It was a simple yet romantic love story.. Love the part most when Jae-kyung gives Eun-whan, who is terminally ill, a bottle of medicine, which is a bottle full of notes written by him.

He told his love: "This's a med that could cure all sickness..One a day..Don't overdose it.."

Some notes are:

~I’ll love you enough for my heart to burn

~Wondering why I like u..i miss u..its a disease

~Its raining..The rain cant cool down my love for you

~If a guy stalk a girl for an hr, he’s called a stalker..And I did that for 2 hours

~ Come on don follow me into my dreams

~ Now I believe that phrase you can see with ur eyes closed

Wish of girl in show :" Don’t take me suddenly, give me enough time to say goodbye " sob

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Just catched this movie at Vivo, worth my 2 hrs in the theatre.

One of the best part of the show was I get to see Yetis on screen for the first time which Brendan Frasier and pals encounter in the mountains of Tibet. The Yetis are visually great and they are not scared of avalanches!! The next highlight is when Emperor and Zi Yuan call their dead armies to life, his clay soldiers vs her skeleton troops. It's kinda different. The ending was also great as Lin gets to lost her immortality and can be together with Luke Ford to love and grow old together and die. Immortality is nothing great when its one-sided.

My fav Mummy 3 Quotes:

EMPEROR: I will restore order and crush the scourge of freedom...

ZI YUAN: Open the currents of justice and the lost ways of honor. Bring down the wrath of the oppressed on this Emperor and all who follow him...

EMPEROR: I will slaughter without mercy. I will conquer without compassion...

ZI YUAN: I call upon the hundreds and the thousands to rise up and seize this moment, to take your victory, to take your justice and to take your revenge!

Terminator - Salvation teaser trailer

Money Not Enough 2

I watched this sneak at The Cathay today and the ticket cost $8.50, cheaper than GV ticket which cost $10..Haha..cos Money not enough ma..

This movie have come at a good time as it speaks of Singaporeans' current economic plight. The rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Inflation at an all-time high, stocks showing poor results, money is truly not enough. This show starts with lotsa ERP gentries, and move into the 3 brothers lives up and down. It also portray great mother love and have very touching parts showing how their mother sacrifices and suffers because of them, which is quite true in today's society. Sure cry for the emotional ladies!! A Good show I must say aft you have a hard day, to relax and laugh! ~Cheese~

And lastly the classic funny MNE handphone teaser below:

HellBoy II ~ The Golden Army : BRILLIANT!!

He may be red, may be horned, may be misunderstood but when you need the job done right, it's time to call in Hellboy~

I finally watched this show aft seeing Part 1 on DVD and I enjoyed Part 2 more with its signature blend of action, humor and characters.Bigger muscle, badder weapons and more ungodly villains from Toro of Pan's Labyrinth. Creatures such as the tooth fairy, wink, angel of death, beanstalk and other more are really unique and something different.

"The Golden Army...The Unstoppable Force..."

Batman The Dark Knight

There's Good, There's Evil...And Then there's Batman...

This absorbing crime saga by the Nolan brothers is dark and intelligent. And Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker is truly madness!

Don't miss this show...

Watched this show and it is a classic piece..I like Batman more than the other super heroes due to the fact that he is not a meta-human; he has no special abilities or powers other than his strength and intelligence, which have been developed through hard work and training.
