Soul-less office

Today I went to work as I did not utilised my xmas off.. So the office is really soul-less today, most of them on leave or off.. So we manage to drive out for McLunch and after that we spent e whole day challenging with my frens itouch games as he got alot of IQ and fast finger games.. haha.. how great will it be if evryday other is like this too!!

Housewarming

Went to ron relative housewarming on Sunday evening with ron whole family.. His cousin got married and bought a house at Tampines.. Just nice I can asked e market rate for Tampines house now.. They bought it for $410K and $18K cash, not inclusive of reno for this 5 room flat..wow really quite expensive.. And I am planning to buy Tampines area by next yr if possible.. haha hopefully I can find one at a gd location and gd price :D

Christmas Over

Wow I have been so occupied lately..Every night when I go to bed I can fall asleep within seconds till e next mrn for work..Went to have xmas dinner with rons and frens at longbeach at east coast.The dinner is great as it cost a bomb..a total of 5 adults and 1 kid we spent $429..haha..crazy price..And the weather on that day is rainy..so we cant take a stroll at e beach aft dinner..Then we went over to ron fren house and played wii till late night..

Our Anniversary

Again ?? Haha.. We have 5 years of completed years with love.. I made Ron a card personally on top of exchanging our gifts.. We went to have dinner at NUOC at orchard central which serves vietnam food. This is my second choice. Initially I wanted to go to Salt grill but its full house till 26 Dec, will visit on V day period..

Then we went to shop around 313 and lastly went to the grand cathay to watch Tron. And when we entered the theatre, we realised its 3D but I actually bought the non 3D one..So we are quite puzzled but still carry on inside. And we are surprised the show has started too as we arrived 5 mins ahead of time. Then we realised e seats we book are taken..So I approached the couple and sais these should be my seats..So the guy took out his hp to shine and checked and then he told me one shocking thing..Your tickets are for tomorrow!! Ahhhh!! Dunno where to hide my face.. Anyway we continued to sit at other empty seats since its not full house and miss the first 15mins of e show, and Ron is rather dunno to be upset or happy about this..haha turnout to be quite an unexpected date. So now we can catch e show again tmr at 950pm for e 2D version..haha..

Tang Yuans

My favourite Tang Yuans are those without filling and dye in red, pink and orange colour ones.. They are small and chewy and boiled in the sweet longan soup with pandan leaves! I can have alot! My mum in law just cooked some yesterday night, but they are those with the peanut and sesame ones, the factory made ones. Tastes good too!!

Praying for Dong Zi

Went to a temple near Tampines with Ron and mum in law to pray for Dong Zi yesterday. We should go now before Wednesday as it gets really crowded on the actual day. This is the first time I bring Jeane to a temple, but I dont think she knows what going on. She just know bai bai and then there's alot of smoke by the incense and she keeps running about and have a good time with Jade.

What Xmas present??

Its time to think about what to get for his anniversary cum xmas gift, so fast just left 8 days only. Its always very hard to know what he needs and what he likes best, so if I ask him then it will not be a surprise anymore. I also need to think of where to go to eat for xmas celebration dinner. We must celebrate in advance instead of e actual day.

Critical Decision

Today at my workplace, I am finally given a choice to end my bond. I just need to wait 3 months to be out processed and pay around $15K or more for the LD. Should I or should I not?
Its so hard to choose, I am tempted to leave my work scope but it also feel so pain to part with at least $15K which I could use to go travelling or save for my kids. And I also need to find another job too. Hard decision!!

Fatter Bonus this year

We finally get to have more bonus this year compared to last year..But its always so hard to save money, I hope I am able to save 30% of my total at the end of the month. Hee. Its always very hard to resist the urge to buy clothes or things I like. Or eat good food. Share with me if you got good savings tips :D

SG Toys Games n Comic Convention

Went with Jade today to my fav toys yearly event. This year there are even more sellers than last year one. Got a few good items today and took some pics too! After that we went to the Book Fest which is at suntec too. Lotsa books and people queuing up to pay for items is crazy. When I joined the queue there are about 100 ppl in front of me.. And they each have like more than 30 items each..Seems like $2 per book like that.. Madness.. Guess they will be earning alot of money.. haha.. And i just got 3 books for Jade :D Had a good day outside rather than just staying at home..

Hello SATURDAY

Finally ended a week of work...My fav day of the whole week is Saturday! Cos sunday is a non working day and I finally can sleep later...Saturday is stress free and carefree...I love Saturday most!

New Office

Today I went to report to my new office. So i met with my new boss and new colleagues, though i have not spoke to all of the people in my new office. Too many of them. It is again not alot of things for me to do and this place actually ban people from using psp on office hours. Oh gosh...SO now I really only can READ books. I wonder how many books would I have finished after 365 days..haha..

My new boss also tell me a story for welcoming me to work. He used babies in his story. He said ppl always like to touch or play with cute, squeezable and huggable babies and what would i do if i see a baby whose face is full of hair. Will people still accept and love the hairy baby? So he said his job as a boss is to take care of his people and not to discriminate anyone. He said he heard alot about my story but he will not care about such things. So he just said he hope I will not be the hairy baby where others will comment or scold. Quite a nice story right? haha.. I am quite inspired by it.

RIP Kenny

This morning at work, I was surprised to hear that one of my instructor who had guided during my course had passed away this morning. Its is really shocking as he is still young at 28 and a very nice person. I hope his family is coping well and may he be blessed in heaven!

Books are Fun

I asked Yiru what she wants for christmas present, so I gave her 3 choices. One is toys, then clothes and lastly books. And I am quite surprised she chose books over toys. Maybe she is teacher calibre in future?? haha.. So I went to my fav book hunting ground and bought her 2 great books: Mad at Mommy and Listen to the rain! Hope she will like it when I give it to her :D

Feeling Good

Just recovered from running nose... Looking good... She's always very prompt to have running nose and phelgm... Germ germ go away....

Rain

Rainy season is approaching, but still not enough rain. I love the rain when I am staying indoors..How I wish if I have a remote control to control when I want it to rain :D

Romance

I am a romance comedy novel and drama fan.. So do romance novels reflect what love should be, or what we would like it to be? To me, real life is a far cry from the fantasy of most romance novels. But that's the fun. The fantasy is a "safe" heightened reality.. They are my escape for a bit of free time!!

Fun Filled Day

Yesterday i spend a quality day with Ron, took a break for ourselves...I went to pay visit to my mum and grandma, have lunch at QunZhong and Kki...Watched Skyline and then have dinner at katong and finally end my day at ktv with ron's family and Jade!! I'm glad Jade loves KTV and enjoyed herself and sang two nursery rhymes twinkle little stars and chinese two tigers...Woo!!
